Do you need a Financial Services Licence

  • Open one bank account with a large and reputable Australian bank in accordance with the applicable banks terms and conditions, and our service policies
  • Open one overseas correspondent bank account 
  • Set up a telephone number in your chosen state and provide virtual receptionist and or call forwarding (plus monthly fee and usage charges)
  • Application for ABN (Australian Business Number)
  • Application for TFN (Tax File Number)
  • Application for GST (Goods & Services Tax) number
  • Provision of special documentation for provision of our resident director service
  • Printed and couriered corporate document set

Exclusions

Included in this AFSL business company package are the services that you may require to have a registered Australian company, which can then apply for the appropriate licensing. It does not include licensing fees, or the professional legal advice, insurances, accounting or any other service that is not shown in the above-mentioned inclusions.

  • Provide a legal opinion on the kind of authorisations that you will need for your business.  
  • Assess the responsible managers you wish to nominate and advise you whether their experience and knowledge is sufficient to meet ASIC’s requirements. We maintain a database of experienced responsible managers with specific skills and can make introductions to you if required.  
  • Help you understand the financial requirements that will apply to your licence.  
  • Prepare the necessary proofs for lodgement with ASIC. These documents are the supporting information for the licence application and are tailored to your business.  
  • Advise you with a high degree of certainty as to whether the application will be accepted, and identify any weaknesses in the application.  
  • Help you deal with requisitions from ASIC.

  • On a case-by-case basis, we can sometimes refer you to a pool of suitably qualified Australian based Responsible Managers. A Responsible Manager must be appointed to all financial services licensees
  • Australia company accounting package, including initial consultation with a specialist business accountant, development of standard procedures & bookkeeping systems. 
  • Australia web domain name purchase (.com.au, .net.au or other .au)
  • Office lease of a small office in an appropriate commercial zone of your chosen city or town (a commercial lease may be required for your application).
  • Purchase commercial office space within your budget and in the appropriate city / town to add credibility to your AFSL application.
  • Special service provision such as liaising with local service providers, law firms, suppliers, wholesalers, importers, logistics companies or other services that you may require.

Important Information

  • Legal, Accounting, AFSL and related application and consultation fees and charges are not included in this package unless specifically stated. 
  • Australia is a full-tax jurisdiction where all bookkeeping and accounting must be prepared and administered in accordance with Australia legislation and regulations. Fees in relation to this service will be payable to your chosen accountant, or the accountant that we appoint for you.
